Brief introduction of this position:
Together with Warehouse and Transportation Management to build a high-performing, modern vehicle distribution networks with smart planning tool: e.g. location and size of regional hubs and optimal transport mode ratio (truck/train/ship). Logistics plan shall be able to provide strategic solution, adapt to changes, manage difficult and complex challenge which also shall be continuously optimized.
Key tasks:
1. Collaborate with Warehouse Management and Transportation Management to develop long-term and short-term distribution network plan that make sure optimal cost, lead time, quality and service level.
2. Develop short-term (12-month) regional hubs expansion plan and long-term analytics based multi-year network topology modelling and architecture.
3. Conduct advanced analysis of logistic demand trend based on communication and cooperation with OTD team and Sale team.
4. Analyze the financial impact of logistics changes, such as vehicle routing, shipping modes, product volumes or mixes, or carriers.
5. Conduct continuous optimization mechanism that optimize cost and service levels across all logistics process and implementing solutions with warehouse and transportation operation team.
6. Organize regular meetings/workshops with other departments for joint optimization measures and implementation plan.
7. Ensures modern planning tools and systems are fully utilized and implemented for the planning process.
8. Supporting the feasibility analysis and implementation of new logistics projects.
9. Other tasks from division head and BU head.
Qualification and skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain / Logistics Engineering or related field. An equivalent combination of education, training , and experience may be considered advantageous
• More than 5 years of experience working with supply chain/logistics planning in automotive industry working experience and knowledge of modern logistics planning IT technology/tool.
• Languages: Fluent in English and Chinese
• IT-Knowledge: Excellent Professional in MS Office and Business Intelligence software
• Certificate: Qualification Certificate of Supply Chain Management is preferred
