The Medical Doctor promotes and maintains employee’s health and well-being. Key duties include providing first aid or basic treatment, emergency preparedness and health campaigns. The doctor collaborates with the Medical Advisor, HR and safety teams to improve occupational health standards. Confidentiality and a preventative, employee-focused approach are essential.
Key Tasks:
- Supporting international/German community in health-related matters.
- Provide medical consultations in on-site clinics. Create regular statistics about disease trends.
- Conduct health trainings (e.g. basic life support training, etc.).
Promoting health awareness in the company. - Regularly communicate with on-site medical staff & clinic service supplier about the operational status.
- Medical Emergency Response support for V-Space and Hefei Hub.
- Proactively research and track emerging infectious threats incl. potential pandemics in China. Provide concepts to avoid transmitted disease spread.
- Conceptualizing, implementation and coordination of health promotion projects according to the respective latest scientific knowledge.
- Conduct work-related injury investigations and provide reports.
- Development and maintenance of the network of external medical service providers.
- Collaboration with health departments in Region China, promote and initiate various health projects.
Qualification and skills required for the position:
Education: University Medical Doctor (MD) degree in medicine
Working experience:
• Min. 1 year of GP/internal medicine. Occupational health experience preferred.
• Clinic management preferred.
• Familiar with transmitted disease spread and prevention measures.
Knowledge, skills and others:
• Proficient in English or German language
• Well developed communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
