Brief description of the position:

1. Follow and develop VW products and production standards considering all electric & hybrid vehicles.
2. Implement the product influence and product planning work during the PEP for Electric.
3. Collect data and manage data change process, and construct data for prototype for Electric.
4. Execute and support manufacturing related topics for series vehicle and prototype construction for Electric.

Key Tasks:

1. Work as representative of production considering assembly parts of Electric
2. Participate in regular cross functional team meetings and organize internal exchanges
3. Request and check of assembly-related product data and documents from the R&D
4. Demand for product optimizations in the CFT considering all requirements of the production
5. Collect and provide required key indicators and evaluations
6. Harmonize and optimize assembly related product requirements and requests with other Business Units within R&D and Production
7. Create and maintain the product plan as a major Input for further planning
8. Collect and construct all the Electric components for virtual prototype, and check the assemble feasibility of Electric parts, and feedback the results to the parts responsible person to solve design problems.
9. Supporting prototype production through digital assembly descriptions.
10. Obtain, clarify and document necessary information of safety-relevant fastening elements, and delivery the results to prototype assembly department.
11. Harmonize and manage  external suppliers for VTO, DM, production influence. confirm supplier work content and work-hour, also focus on compliance and safe issues.

Qualification and skills required for the position

1. At least Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, computer science or equivalent qualifications.
2. Minimum of 3 years automotive-related work experience in the areas of production and/or technical development, familiar with vehicle structure, vehicle assembly sequence and process of Electric.
3. Familiar with development related applications (CATIA, Team center, etc.).
4. Familiar with vehicle development process and vehicle manufacturing systems
5. Strong coordination and negotiation skills, as well as the ability of profound analytical thinking.
6. Experienced in Microsoft Office Tools.
7. Proficient language skills in English language, German language is better.
8. Familiar with MTM or REFA, especially considering MTM UAS
