This position holder is in charge of thermal propagation testing and management, collaborating with other teams to manage TP testing based on project progress, execute testing, and assist the development team in optimizing battery performance.
Key Tasks:
- Collaborate with internal/external departments and suppliers to manage testing based on project progress
- Responsible for communicating with the project development department, developing vehicle/battery thermal propagation test plan according to requirements
- Responsible for project coordination and testing management
- Responsible for the execution of testing, including coordination of test components, test preparation, process tracking, troubleshooting, regular reporting, etc
- Responsible for tracking and evaluating test results, analyzing test issues, and reporting test results to the development team
- Management, upgrade, purchasing and other related matters of thermal propagation equipment
- Familiar with the knowhows, standards and regulations related to TP testing
Qualification and skills required for the position:
- Education:
- Master's degree or above, majoring in electrical engineering, mechatronics engineering, electrochemistry, automotive engineering or related fields;
- Working experience:
- Over 2 years of experience in testing and managing thermal propagation of high-voltage batteries for electric vehicles;
- Knowledge, skills and others:
1. Familiar with thermal propagation knowhows, standards and regulations and equipment, including equipment operation, emergency problem handling, etc;
2. Familiar with the tools used in battery development and testing, such as CANoe, CANape,CAPL,DiagRA;
3. Familiar with the thermal hazards of lithium-ion batteries and the propagation mechanism of thermal explosion hazards in battery systems;
4. Within systematic solutions to complex safety issues such as thermal propagation of lithium batteries;
5. Fluent English communication skills, German preferred;
