The position of "OBD TPL" is responsible for the technical strategic steering, evaluation and validation of technical concepts for the different OBD requirements to apply in all affected system, parts and functions with the different development areas from the first stages of the development process until the release of the OBD solutions of E/E components for China E/E Architecture (CEA in short).
Key Tasks:
.Define the China-specific development scope for the related legal requirements involved into OBD (On Board Diagnosis) to provide compliant & cost-efficient strategy for the CEA architectures.
.Creation of Framework conditions for new defined collaboration model with Key Stakeholders in China and Headquarter: CEA One Team, VCTC, Xpeng, VWA, SVW, FAW-VW, CARIAD & VW WOB, etc.
.Tracking, monitoring & steering the delta evaluation of OBD requirements within the affected CEA Architecture variants and platforms. Be involved in requirement process to conduct a technical solution definition within the E/E Architecture.
.Ensure the VCTC-AA on-time & in-quality alignment from all OBD requirements and define technical solution with CEA development stakeholders
.Ensure the secure product development quality by providing time-efficient development processes, methodology & templates.
.Steering, coordinating and collaborating with all relevant CEA development stakeholders the technical interpretation of related OBD legal requirements, define technical solution on system level and align the realization within the different project timeline to ensure on-time release.
.Definition and delegation of VCTC-AA yearly task and target by considering the relevant laws, environmental and compliance requirements.
.Establish team setup of VCTC-AA with CEA development stakeholders increasing team’s competence, development speed and quality for the solution definition.
.Representation of VCTC-AA in working groups, steering JVs, groups and group committees.
