Brief description of the position:
1. Planning, coordinating and ensuring the order-processing work flow; Coordinating internal and external resources to secure the production schedules and quality of prototype tooling and powertrain parts
2. Assure an economical prototype production by involving in forward sourcing process and analysis & optimization of the production technologies and methods.
Key Tasks:
1. Discussing, consulting on, assessing and implementing customer wishes with regard to schedules, costs and quality with the aim of maximum customer satisfaction; Consulting on vehicle parts and large assemblies with customer FE units and external companies.

Participating in negotiations with suppliers and conducting talks on schedules, quality and costs; Participate in the establishment and improvement of departmental human resources system, including training and development, policy dissemination, system supervision, etc.
3. Consultation with supplier on technical matters, scheduling/call-down of parts and delivery tracking up to ZP8 as well as invoice approval; Requesting test parts with VTA / BM and FA via ERP in accordance with the supplier manual including invitations for bids.
4. Budgeting the work orders including changes for test mules, Completion of annual financial statements for orders placed; Documenting the test mules.
5. Supporting the achievement of the product quality targets in the light of the applicable project schedules; Independently convening and holding meetings to solve problems in the relevant area and independently preparing and implementing solutions in consultation with the customer/department.
6. Qualifying and testing suppliers on the basis of the supplier manual for prototype parts for cooperation with the test construction department; Calculating and analyzing parts and assemblies for prototypes and production equipment in all manufacturing processes occurring in test construction and introduction of new manufacturing processes.
7. Implementing, communicating and introducing innovative manufacturing processes for prototype parts; Recording and coordinating suppliers worldwide and advising on delivery and cost scopes.
8. Developing, conducting and leading cost discussions with suppliers, purchasing, etc.; Training and supporting suppliers and users of the prototype production equipment application (PBA).
9. Sharing information with other construction sites, with the aim of ensuring consistently high quality (information, improvisation, solutions and documentation); Participating in core team meetings of project management at the Pre-Series Center; Preparing design specifications and changes for internal production; Representing the mode of operation of the test construction in dealings with other departments, with the aim of process optimization.
Qualification and skills required for the position:
1. Bachelor’s degree or above, major in engineering.
2. Minimum 3 years of working experience in automobile industry.
3. Experience in prototyping and pre-series center tasks.
4. Familiar with VW group development processes.
5. Ability to use virtual technologies (DMU, VR) and other new technologies.
6. Ability to handle PC/IT for company communications.
7. English language spoken fluently.
