Department Mission:
• Represents the key function in Powertrain components development topics in 
Volkswagen Group in Region China. It acts as a powerful interface among Audi AG and VW AG, Beijing (other divisions/departments within VGC and Audi China) and 
our Joint Ventures and Component plants in China for Powertrain technologies.
• Leading the Powertrain Component Development Testing within Group R&D China 
for localization and developing engines or other automobile components for the 
Chinese market and takes the full responsibility for the current projects.

Your Responsibilities:
• Release of localized and CKD powertrain components by choosing suitable methods from the testing side
• Planning and tracking of component validation and testing release
• CKD and local content supplier management
• Support on series production and field topic
• Represent VCTC-MA1 on parts topics in VW Group China project related committees

Required Qualification:
• Education: Bachelor degree or above in mechanical-, electrical-, mechatronic- or automotive engineering or equivalent education
• Work Experience: 5 years experience in powertrain-/electrical components development of
automotive industry
• Knowledge, skills and abilities:
o Good knowledge of powertrain technologies and supply chain
o Good knowledge of measurement, testing technologies and methods (e.g INCA, 
data aquisition systems, OBD)
o Good knowledge of part manufacturing and assembling processes
o Working in Multinational and global shared development networks with multiple 
partners and shareholder interests
o Good knowledge of MS Office applications
o Knowledge of INCA, Concerto and Diagra software is a plus

• Language: 
o Good English skills (written and spoken)o Plus: Good German skills (written and spoken
