Brief description of the position:

As a senior technical expert for HV battery cell development, the Technical Expert oversees and steers the technical development topics within the team and supports the team manager in driving the technical direction. The role drives conceptual design and requirements definition, secures that products meet technical and legal requirements as a basis for final releases, and acts as a key technical reference to build cell development competence within the team.

Key Tasks:

• Technical steering and coordination of battery cell development topics in the team, including conceptual design, requirements definition, development and release.
• Technical assessment and evaluation of cell concepts, designs, materials and supplier proposals; definition of HVB cell requirements.
• Driving cross-project and cross-function technical issue solving.
• Supporting the team manager in planning, prioritizing and tracking technical development topics and milestones.
• Acting as technical interface and sparring partner towards internal stakeholders, projects, suppliers and partners.
• Providing technical analysis, input and recommendations for escalation topics.
• Building, ensuring and sharing battery cell development know-how and competence within the team.
• Contributing technical expertise in relevant committees and working groups.
• Acting as technical point of contact for defined development topics in support of and in alignment with the team manager.
• Assisting superiors with other urgent and special assignments.
