Your Responsibilities:

• Ensures that Volkswagen KRL 4 (Organisations-Richtlinie) as VW group policy for Product Safety / Product Conformity is fulfilled in China region, with the aim of ensuring the best possible and desirable outcome for VW group.
• As deputy of QA Compliance director, to assist QA Compliance director to manage the QA Compliance team.
• Ensures “one voice strategy” for Product Safety and Conformity in Region China.
• Central coordinator for product safety and conformity matters in Region China.
• Operate Clearing Region China (CRC) platform, responsible for organizing monthly / quarterly / annual Jour-fixe 
• and multi-brand ad-hoc meetings and define agenda, coordinate among JVs / importer and Group / Brands HQ.
• Operate China Region Review Group (CRRG) concerning potential VGIC products in the field, escalate to brand
• APS as necessary
• Standard process update for CRC, CRRG, product reliability and PSB and government reporting.
• Chinese Laws and Regulation (product Safety and Conformity related) follow-up and information sharing within
• Group.
• Participation in TRRC (Technical Regulation Region China), ECRC (Emission Clearing Region China).
• Risk recorder from C-PQP to the Company risk management system. 
• Leading and steering analysis for safety topics for imported cars and CKD-parts in China market. (CKD-parts are completely or partly imported).
• Steering the coordination and organization of timely analysis (depth parts & whole vehicle analysis on the spot) of root causes of safety relevant single incident issues from FBU cars.
• Ensure closed contact to the factories worldwide regarding coordinating with the responsible factories, Importer after sales, colleagues from Product Reliability (Gebrauchssicherheit) worldwide and FBU dealers in China by regular Teko, Viko or personnel visit.
• Supporting legal department with detailed technical analysis regarding the root cause of a specific incident and thus preventing unnecessary high costs due to lost legal cases.
• Coordinating the analysis activities with the JVs, offering and organizing training and qualification to experts in related departments, cooperation with JV-organization during single incident analysis of JV cars.
• Support the PSB and prevention activities in the JV and Component factories.
• Support and coordinating the organization of necessary trainings for Analysis and PSB issues in the Chinese market.

Our Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor degree, field of automotive engineering.
• Professional training in Data analysis, failure root cause analysis on single incidents.
• Distinctive knowledge of quality management methods and -  techniques.
• Proven experiences in project management,  product compliance  and authority  communication.
• Very good knowledge of VW internal processes.
• Profound intercultural communication skills, Project work / product management experience, Very good Self-organization, Learning receptivity, flexibility and efficiency, High Costumer Orientation
• Curiosity in technology, strategical and logical thinking, convincing skills, self-motivatedand inspiring others.
• At least 5 years working experience in automotive industry in TE / QA or Technical service / support areas.
• 1 - 3 years of team leading function preferred.
• English in writing and conversation mandatory, German skill is preferable
• Project management  related profession certifications
• Good relationship with business partners.
• Usage of VW internal IT systems (Quality, construction, dealer systems, e.g. DMS, RECALL, AQUA, dealer portal, DISS, KVS, ETKA, Elsa Pro)
• Confident presentation skills.
