Your Responsibilities:

• Cost analysis and support in the design-to-cost processes of projects from the areas of ePowetrain
• Support and identification of cost potentials in the development and nomination processes
• Cost optimization in concept development and preparation for top management and board level technology decisions
• Establishing and conducting of design-to-cost processes with the development and with the main suppliers
• Active support for the negotiations with the focus on the hardware concept and product cost
• Benchmarking and active participation in hardware product cost workshops

Our Requirements:

• Experience in the development and/or cost evaluations of ePowetrain in the automotive industry
• Cost analysis/value engineering experience is an advantage
• Knowledge and experience in the Chinese automotive market and local technologies
• Experience in international project management
• Mobility

Necessary education:

Completed studies in the fields of manufacturing engineering, automotive engineering or comparable studies with technical focus

Personal skills:

• Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex issues at the interface of technology and business aspects
• Pragmatism and solution orientation
• Team spirit and enthusiasm for new technologies
• Assertiveness and ability to work under pressure in a volatile environment

Working experience (in years):

• Min. of 5 years working experience in areas like automotive engineering, cost evaluation or automotive development

Remarks (Language, IT Knowledge, Certificates etc.):

• Chinese native
• Business English spoken and written
• German language skills are an advantage
