Brief description of the position:

This position holds the responsibility for preparation of relevant financial reports and ensuring data harmonization for benchmarks between entities considering respective differences; Safeguard sales controlling standards by ensuring transparency, steering of sales elements; As well as analyze into industry competitors and benchmark with VW Brand.

Key Tasks:

• Standardized Sales Controlling reporting including monitoring and analyzing (actual, budget, forecast, planning round).
• Tracking and analyzing into Sales cost (dealer margin, bonus, tactical, market discount, etc.),and benchmarking with related brands and entities, to support decision making process.
• Presenting, ask for acknowledgment and give recommendations to VW brand in terms of Sales cost Region China and entities in the respective committees.
• Support the development of market monitoring tools and steer the implementation. Implement the ideal sales cost strategy to optimize Profit Contribution and Sales Performance.
• Roll-out VW standards of the sales cost controlling in new producing entities.
• Ad hoc in-depth analysis on sales performance and profitability as needed to facilitate management decision making.
• Conduct competitors analysis and benchmarks of VW brand against other OEMs.
• Support VGIC and VCIC Product Management at evaluating  export business cases (e.g. China -> other countries) and prepare financial feasibility to support management decision.
• Performing individual task-related duties in accordance with the knowledge and experience of the position holder.
• Advising other people holding positions at VCIC, its subsidiaries/associate companies, or cooperating organizations upon request and in consultation with the appropriate people responsible.

Qualification and skills:

Education:

• Finance , Business Administration university degree, Diploma, MBA, CPA, CFA

(Finance & Controlling as majors)

Working experience:

> 5 years working experience in financial management related field preferred automobile industry.

Knowledge, skills and others:

• Finance and controlling knowledge, and strong at financial analysis and data processing.
• Reliable / attention to detail / self-initiative / driven by initiatives.
• Strong inter-cultural convincing and problem solving skills with regard to the joint venture situation.
• Innovative approach / assertive implementation skills.
• Willingness to travel within China and to HQ locations.
• Fluent Chinese and English capabilities required, German is beneficial.
•  MS Office skills / SAP or IT System knowledge are required.
