Brief description of the position:
The Finance Insights & BP role provides data driven financial insights and business partnering to support management decisions, with a focus on region wide AI and digital applications in Finance. It leverages BI, AI and other digital solutions as standardized internal services, and acts as an interface between regional Finance functions and local entities (including JVs and controlled entities)
Tasks:
- Provide financial analysis, performance insights and management reporting to support business decisions, using BI reports, dashboards and other digital tools.
- Run and continuously improve finance related digital and AI products (e.g. BI dashboards, process mining and AI solutions) as standardized internal services, ensuring quality, usability, scalability
- Conduct financial evaluations for key business cases, including cost benefit and ROI analysis, and summarize findings into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into finance relevant digital and AI use cases, define high level concepts and coordinate implementation together with Finance functions, BUs, and JVs ensuring scalability
- Ensure service management for digital and AI products, including SLA fulfillment, user support, incident handling, and service improvement via feedback, usage data and best practices from the region
- Identify and scale best practices of AI and digital Finance solutions across the region (from JVs or other regional entities ), contributing to a coherent and scalable Finance digital infrastructure
- Standardize and optimize the basic finance report/dashboard /KPIs in line with finance strategy and financial statistics by working with other finance function team and Finance Data & BI engineering
- Investigate and analyze finance process and facilitate its digitalization optimization, unification and synergy cross regional local entities(including JVs and controlled entities)
- Manage Finance digital product land project life-cycle, from conceptual to deliver to launch, and make continuous improvement in line with Finance overall portfolio strategy.
- Support for Ad-hoc digitalization relevant tasks
- Performing individual task-related duties in accordance with the knowledge and experience of the position holder.
- Advising other people holding positions at VCIC, its subsidiaries/associate companies, or cooperating organizations upon request and in consultation with the appropriate people responsible.
Qualification and skills required for the position:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Science or a related field, with solid understanding of finance and accounting principles.
Working experience:
3-5 years of experience in finance, controlling or business partnering, ideally combined with hand-on exposure to BI / data analytics or digitalization topics.
Knowledge, skills and others:
Good understanding of core finance processes and KPIs; familiarity with BI / analytics tools (Tableau, Power BI etc.) and basic data handling is preferred; strong analytical and business partnering skills; clear communication skills; proactive and reliable working style; good command of written and spoken English
