Brief description of the position:
This position act as the insight giver for the Group Communications team, generate trend analysis & forecast for communication as well as insight to support on communication planning. On top of planning support, this position also provide media data review to recap and optimize for future communication planning.
Key Tasks:
- Provide guidance and steer agency to fulfill business needs underneath media & social environment (e.g. report, result analysis)
- Derive trend & competitor communication & hot topic analysis, generate business insight report to support on communication planning
- Provide insights to media mgmt. & content owner to drive data-based business decision with maximized outcome
- Identify best-fit communication channels for different communication activities based on media intelligence result
- Steer daily and project based media & social monitoring and review results, provide data analysis and generate implication & lesson learnt
- Integrate needs from brands and entities to provide necessary timely intelligent support
- Explore future / potential tools for efficiency improvement (e.g. AI related tool)
- Budget owner for Media Intelligence function
Qualification and skills required for the position:
Education:
• University degree in Communications, Journalism, Business Analytics or related field
• Knowledge and expertise about business intelligence data analytics is highly appreciated
Working experience: 8+ years in business analytics, media intelligence, experience in corporate or brand communications is preferred
Knowledge, skills and others:
- Excellent analytics skills with ability to develop insight based on data
- Strategic thinking, cross cultural experience and skills
- Strong analysis, planning, organization and cross functional management skills
- Solid experience in media analysis and PR communications, data experience is a plus
- Very rich insight generation competence, and presentation skills
- Strong sense of responsibility, self-motivated, detail oriented and effective and efficient working habits
- Knowledge of automotive industry is preferred
- Chinese as native or fluent, English as fluent language, German is a plus
