Brief description of the position:

- Industry Affairs refers to the function that handles auto-industry affairs and relations

- Relationship with key industry-focused organizations

- Manage industry-focused events

- Monitor industry development dynamics; 

Key Tasks:

1. Main role in building & maintaining relations with key industry-focused organizations, e.g. CAAM, SAE, EV100, CATARC, ACEA, VDA, etc.
2. Main role in handling Volkswagen's participation in major industry-focused events, such as key conferences and forums (WNEVC, EV100, etc.)
3. Driving collaborative research projects with external partners (e.g. China Auto Industry Annual Report with SAE China and DRC)
4. Main role in building & maintaining relations with other industry stakeholders, such as OEMs, suppliers from C-C perspective
5. Main role in monitoring and reporting industry dynamics and competition landscape, including technical and market development trends
6. Main role in managing all memberships and participation of industry working groups and committees

Qualification and skills:

• college & above, business or STEM preferred.
• 3+ years of exp. in industry or government affairs
• - sound knowledge about industry
• - strong communication skills
• - strong inter-personal skills
• - strong document-making skills
• - fluent in English a must, German a plus
• - solid reporting skill
