岗位描述/Department Mission
As a member of CARIAD China’s engineering team, you will contribute to functional testing of body electronics systems—such as digital key, vehicle access, door locks, and window controls. You’ll support Function Owners (FOs) and Subsystem Owners (SOs) in test design, execution, and issue analysis, helping ensure the reliability and user experience of next-generation intelligent vehicles.
主要职责/Your Responsibilities :
- Participate in designing and executing test cases for body-related functions (e.g., digital key, door locks, window control);
- Set up basic test environments under mentorship and perform in-vehicle network testing using tools like CANoe and CANalyzer;
- Develop simple automation scripts (e.g., in Python or CAPL);
- Assist in functional validation and issue reproduction on test benches or real vehicles;
- Learn to use requirement traceability tools (e.g., Polarion, DOORS) to ensure comprehensive test coverage;
- Document test results, write clear defect reports, and participate in root-cause discussions.
岗位要求/Required Qualification:
Education background: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Automotive Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Automation, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Internship Experiences
- Has related internship experience such, software development, vehicle architecture design, AI, electrical and electronical engineering at least one year.
- Has related project experience for software development, electrical and electronical engineering, AI, and vehicle architecture design during university education phase.
Technical / Professional skills
- Basic understanding of automotive electronics and familiarity with CAN/LIN protocols;
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, C/C++) and ability to write simple scripts;
- Exposure to embedded systems, ECUs, or AUTOSAR architecture is a plus;
- Awareness of UDS diagnostics or automotive Ethernet (e.g., SOME/IP, DoIP) is advantageous;
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, or signal generators;
- Prior involvement in academic projects, lab research, competitions (e.g., Intelligent Vehicle Contest, Electronics Design Challenge), or internships is highly valued.
Soft Skills
- Passion for intelligent and connected vehicles, with a hands-on mindset;
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving curiosity;
- Good written English skills (able to read technical documentation); spoken fluency is a plus;
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and eager to learn in a collaborative team environment.
