Brief description of the position:

This position holder is in charge of Charging function test topics in Region China and overseas . It is important for the cross-functional scope within complex charging system development. It acts as a powerful interface among all brands in Hefei (VCTC),Europe(VW AG), Beijing(VCIC, Audi China), JVs(VWA, SVW, FAW-VW, Audi FAW-NEV) and group component plants in China.

Key Tasks:

  1. Responsible for charging interoperability test management across varies platform and different variant through the whole development phase until SOP.
  2. Responsible for creating test specification and processing within project timeline and milestones, implement interoperability test with regional CPOs and manufactures, KPM creation and tracking, report towards Project Coordination Charging Functions TPL and TL for development status or escalation.
  3. Responsible and support below related test (test catalog definition/ report approval / trouble shooting and technical root cause analysis ) -Vehicle winter and summer test / Vehicle function test/ Vehicle durability test / Homologation test
  4. Responsible for development and integration of software, function and electronics for high voltage charging system for the respective vehicle platform.
  5. Responsible for technical group level and JV alignments -Interface towards multiple departments within group for charging functions relevant technical topics
  6. Responsible for benchmarking of charging functions for Chinese Market.
  7. Responsible for local/global charging standard interpretation and break down to charging component development. Responsible for cost evaluation and supplier payment and delivery confirmation
  8. Responsible for the charging functions like Wireless charging, HPC(high power charging), wallbox and onboard charger for the respective vehicle platform.
  9. Responsible for potential supplier technical sourcing and TE rating according to sourcing requirements, align and prepare procurement documents for technical support, research and development.
  10. willingness to take business travel within China and overseas

Qualification and skills required for the position:

  1. Bachelor’s degree or above in electronic engineering, mechanical engineering, automotive engineering or similar. 
  2. With good communication skills and team spirit; 
  3. Excellent comprehensive quality, good image, language expression and logic, flexible to deal with people; 
  4. Fluent English communication skills and German communication skills is preferred; 
  5. Full command of MS Office/XP/MS Outlook, strong skills in Excel &PowerPoint; 
  6. Familiar with charging system standard and test case; 
  7. Familiar with CAN protocol, familiar with CAN-oe/CAN-ape and other analysis tools;
