This position is to ensure Connectivity functions on CEA platform. The holder of the position is responsible for function and related backend development, design and management, as well as project control for specific function development, integration and verification to ensure the delivery of function in vehicle program.

Key Tasks:

Define the function and architecture design of Connectivity functions based on the company’s development strategic to ensure meeting the company's different modular product requirements, while considering the development cycle, efficiency and quality standards

Carry out technical benchmarking and trend analysis on Connectivity functions and related backend, and cooperate with the team to improve the corresponding technical specifications (expectation / planning) based on project requirement & market trend

Coordinate with the Connectivity functions development team and testing team to define and develop specific functional and regulation requirements to be compliance with Chinese standards

Define cost estimation and resource planning by using project management to ensure the function development implementation

Support establishing Connectivity functions related business process and system to ensure Connectivity functions end to end flow (DLCM)

Establish and maintains different Stakeholders network of VGC, VWAG, JVs and supplier to improve cooperation by developing, integration and testing

Create and manage error management system and process for Connectivity functions with support from different stakeholders to ensure delivery and complete approval recommendation of Grey Service

Design integration and testing new concept, methods and processes to evaluate and verify CN specific requirements

Set up testing equipment and define local integration and testing plan to ensure the function development schedule

Manage suppliers and set up integration/testing team to ensure their delivery and result fulfill technical requirements and timeline

Qualification and skills required for the position:

Education: University degree in engineering/IT, e.g. computer science or equivalent working experience 

Working experience: Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in technical position of automotive industry, including supplier industry; 

Knowledge, skills and others: • Comprehensive expertise in developing/testing connected car services, experience with E2E function architecture is a plus; • Project management knowledge (time management / planning / monitoring); • Broad knowledge and well-founded technical understanding in all relevant EE related disciplines in theory and exercise; • Good team player and communication skills; • Familiar with CAN, Ethernet, vehicle BUS communication knowledge; • Familiar with Cloud service develop and deployment knowledge;
