职位描述:
Responsibilities:
- Deputizes for Head of PR & Communications for all regular PR activities.
- Leads strategic planning and implementation of all Volkswagen Brand Corporate Communications in China.
- Act as a spokesperson for Volkswagen China Passenger Cars Brand.
- Coordinates interviews and other PR activities in China for Member of the Board of Volkswagen Brand AG responsible for Sales and Marketing.
- Management of the Volkswagen China Passenger Cars Brand PR Retainer Agency on a daily basis.
- Leads the PR involvement in Issue Management, Risk reporting and Consumer Day for the Volkswagen Brand.
- Leads major Chinese overseas events with a corporate character. (Brand China auto show Preview, China CEO interviews, Annual Conference, overseas Corporate media trips)
- Supports the establishment of the Volkswagen China Passenger Cars Brand PR & Communications team, coaching professional skills.
- Is the daily contact point of Volkswagen HQ PR and Communication (GK/S)
Key Task:
- Deputy for the Head of PR & Communications.
- Strategic planning, implementation of VW Brand Corporate Communications.
- Act as a spokesperson for Volkswagen China Passenger Cars Brand on corporate topics.
- Responsible for coordinating Volkswagen Brand Board Member Sales, Marketing and After Sales’ interviews with media.
- Daily management of the Volkswagen China Passenger Cars Brand PR retainer Agency.
- Steers the PR involvement in Issue Management, Risk reporting and Consumer Day for the Volkswagen Brand.
- Leads PR part of major Chinese and overseas events with a corporate character.
- Is the daily contact point of Volkswagen HQ PR and Communication (GK/S).
Qualification and Skills:
Necessary education:
- University studies: communications, journalism, public relations or similar;
(bachelor degree, master degree preferred)
- Expertise and in-depth knowledge in automotive products and technologies
Working experience (in years):
- 10+ years in automotive communications, e.g. as a spokesperson, journalist or in PR agency.
- 5+ years PR experience of automotive industry preferred in a senior role
- In-depth knowledge of automotive industry in China essential
- Cross-culture experience is preferred

- A strong coordinator and leader, able to work within a matrix organization and be capable to communicate / cooperate with different decision makers
- Strong sense of responsibility, ability to adapt to a variety of cultures and personalities
- Strategic and systematic thinker with strong analytical skills
