Brief Description:

Develop and research on BEV, PHEV&EREV whole vehicle efficiency, incl. e-consumption and fuel consumption; e-range and total range, driving resistance, aerodynamic, low voltage consumption, acceleration and Vmax. Focus on not only normal temperature (CLTC&WLTC), but also low and high temperature scenario as well as real customer use case. Take responsibility for optimizing interface and function in HMI like remain e-range calculation, driving mode definition, e-consumption display etc.

Key Tasks:

• BEV, PHEV&EREV whole vehicle efficiency, incl. e-consumption and fuel consumption.
• Vehicle dynamic performance, incl. top speed, acceleration and grade ability.
• Aerodynamic and vehicle resistance.
• Low voltage consumption, thermal management system consumption   
• According to his/her responsibility, to do testing and analysis for project cars and competitors and issue comprehensive report. To issue declared value based on qualified test results and process.
• To build the simulation model and conduct defined simulation case in MATLAB.
• To do project prognosis, steering and coordination with PM, sales, R&D and CEA one team.
• To escalate, present, report efficiency
• optimization measure and status in project meeting, tech decision committee.      
• To organize, coordinate the tech and project exchange with Joint Ventures.
• To maintain good cooperation with WOB counter partner.

Qualification and Skills:                           

• Master Degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical
• Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or similar
• Broad knowledge and well-founded technical understanding in whole vehicle structure and theory
• It is expected that more than 3 years’ work experience in auto industry, the described responsibilities can be fulfilled
• Team working and good problem-solving skills
• Good technical communication skills in English (written and spoken).
• German language is desired
