Brief description of the position

Function & E-Baseline management MM cooperation projects is responsible for the timely implementation of the E/E contents implementation in MM Projects. This includes cooperation with Chinese partner, planning of integration steps and planning, steering and development of E/E hardware and software compounds for the whole lifecycle incl. SW release plan till SOP and OTA after SOP

Key Tasks

● Coordinate/implement of all function requirements of MM projects & create/modify function list as well as realize project specific functions.

● Define and track maturity & release target planning, monitor integration steps together with function spokespersons of the departments and E/E integration.

● Responsible for function rampup plan, SW release plan, check realization maturity and evtl. escalation Responsible and central interface for OTA campaign management from R&D department

● coordination and steering Error Management for function related tickets solving, before SOP and take participation in OTA campaign process and steering bugfixing

● Plan, control & track project specific compound budgets to achieve the technical product requirements in coordination with product management.

● Initiation of supplier discussions for critical scopes together with responsible departments and follow-up of decisive measures.

● Implement China specific compound management in planning/approval, steering/implementation and lifecycle phase to guarantee local focus/cost potentials.

● Implementation of the project-relevant committees for evaluation of the technical progress of E/E contents.

● Project agreements on E/E issues and definition of a joint China specific roadmap for all LCM/DLCM scopes with compound relevance.

● Performing individual task-related duties in accordance with the knowledge and experience of the position holder.

● Advising other people holding positions at VCIC, its subsidiaries/associate companies, or cooperating organizations upon request and in consultation with the appropriate people responsible.

Qualification and skills required for the position

Education Master in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, automotive engineering

Working experience 5 years working experience, out of this at least 3 years in automotive industry including supplier industry in whole vehicle project management

Knowledge, skills and others Inter-cultural skills, languages (English and German), deep understanding of automotive processes and procedures, familiar with Volkswagen Group organization, systems and processes
