Brief description of the position：

As an performance expert in the field of HV battery system, define relevant product requirements, collaborate closely with external component responsible persons and internal system/subsystem/component responsible persons to ensure the compliance of the product with relevant requirements.

Key Tasks:

• Definition and communication of performance related requirements (UBE, power, fast charge, charge/discharge efficiency).
• Battery limit calculation/management to ensure correct HVB parameters input for Battery Management System Software.
• Securing the fulfillment of performance related requirements together with system engineer.
• Collaboration in performance related technical problem solving.
• Evaluation of consequences of deviations from performance perspective and formulation of a statement.
• Definition of performance related criteria (checklist, etc.) and verification for design freezes and releases.
• Collaboration in product optimization, including cost reduction.
• Collaboration in project-specific evaluation and compliance check according to target market and/or global standards & regulations in terms of performance.
• Documentation of design activities within scope of responsibility according to relevant rules.
• Performance related knowledge building and sharing.

Qualification and skills required for the position:

• Familiar with Li-ion Battery in general.
• Familiar with the development tools (e.g. QFD, DFX, FMEA, FTA, DOE, topology optimization, 8D analysis, SPC, 6 Sigma, etc.).
• Familiar with auto-industry standards, development regulations, homologation certification, GB standards, TS 16949, VW standards, VW-PEP Process.
• Fully Team-working spirit, good leadership,communication and coordination skills
• Good English speaking, reading and writing skills
