Brief description of the position:

This position is HV battery project management with the main responsibility of ensuring HV battery project technical development activities according to schedule & budget boundary and right integration into vehicle. The position is technical project interface closely with Group, AUDI and VW brands Vehicle , HVB development suppliers and JVs in China to drive the project execution.

Key Tasks: 

  1. Initiate and functionally lead the project team in VCTC-YE.
  2. Responsible for fulfillment of the main project KPIs (timeline, development cost, MEK, weight, etc.).
  3. Responsible to ensure all the project resources (budget planning, HC planning, testing resources, material) and escalate in case of deviations.
  4. Communicate with R&D, marketing, finance, purchasing, quality assurance, logistics and other related external departments of WOB/AUDI, VCTC and HVB component factory.
  5. Organization and implementation of internal project status meeting. Preparation, distribution and reporting the project status. Drive escalation meetings (deep dives, task forces, management).
  6. Supplier management, incl. organization and implementation of regular project exchange meetings. Representation of the project at VCTC and implementation of a regular meeting for coordination with JVs.
  7. First point of contact and coordinator for external questions on technical, distribution of enquiries to internal specialists
  8. Steer engineering changes (AEKO) in the project team, analyze the changes in terms of cost/time/quality, ensure change can be implemented on time
  9. Coordination with the specialist group on battery relevant topics in the power train focus on project impact. Support in TOP error rounds, participation in error round, if required, participation in error Mgmt. Process
  10. Trigger and participation in the RCB (Release Control Board) for issuing level releases . Trigger of P/B/K/BMG release and initiate the relevant work flows in KVS & TI-Syncro.
