Position Name: HW Design

Your Responsibilities:

• Independently developing concepts and circuit designs for power/control electronics for onboard chargers (OBC)
• Specification, development, and support of validation until series production maturity
• Coordination with development partners from system, software, hardware components, circuit development, layout, mechanics, and testing
• Technical coordination of circuit units and communication with internal interface partners, service providers, and semiconductor/component suppliers
• Ensure compliance with relevant automotive industry standards and regulations, coordinate with regulatory agencies and certification bodies as needed.
• Supporting R&D projects, industrialization, and/or SOP projects as / when required
• Preparing detailed design documentation to support manufacturing, assembly, and servicing of OBC and DC-DC hardware components. 
• Performing individual task-related duties in accordance with the knowledge and experience of the position holder.
• Advising other people holding positions at VCIC, its subsidiaries/associate companies, or cooperating organizations upon request and in consultation with the appropriate people responsible.

Our Requirements:

• Bachelor and above in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automotive Engineering, or a related field
• More than 5 years of relevant experience in unit design for On-Board Chargers (OBC)
• Experience with at least 2 - 3 full OBC project cycles, including series production launch
• In-depth knowledge of implementing global charging standards (EU (CCS), US (NACS), China (GB/T), Japan (CHAdeMo))
• Experience with bidirectional AC charging systems (V2L/V2H, V2G)
• Familiarity with ASPICE, ISO 26262, and automotive standards
• Experience with chargers, power electronics, or high-voltage components
• Proficiency with tools such as Codebeamer, Jira, and Altium Designer
• Fluent in English and Chinese, German is a plus
