Department Mission

• To provide systematic technical support on whole product development process includes prismatic cell formation process feasibility research, formation process definition and implementation in series production.
• To give formation process solution to support industrialization process and transfer/synchronize know-how between VW group and external partner.
• Monitor and control the production process to ensure the fulfilment of VW group requirement.
• To create prismatic cell formation production process relevant document defined within product/project development scope.

Your Responsibilities:

• Support the prismatic cell formation development process from process design perspective especially introduction in plant
• Provide professional technical guidance at electrochemistry and systematic level for battery cell development and production
• Support prototype of new product at partner’s facilities
• Deeply support industrialization process to achieve on-time delivery
• As main interface between VW group and external partners, coordinate joint problem solving about formation process as well as know-how transfer
• Responsible of prismatic cell formation process relevant documentation

Our Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor degree or above
• Work Experience
  • 8+ years of cell industry experience with 5 years in respective field such as pouch cell/ prismatic cell or cylindrical cell formation process
  • experience in prismatic cell for xEV is preferred
  • Mass production experience for global OEMs
  • Experience with full product life cycle as from concept to series production
  • Experience in Quality Systems (APQP/PPAP) processes is desired
  • Knowledge of VDA6.3/6.5 and/or IATF 16949 Standards
• English:  Fluent in reading and writing, good at speaking and listening
