Your Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for design and development of controllers and related functions for high voltage batteries for the respective vehicle platform;
  • Responsible for localization and development of electronic parts until project SOP;
  • Responsible for planning, implementation and execution of hardware and software interfaces from battery management system (BMS), cell management controller (CMC) and LV-wiring;
  • Responsible for component specification, requirements alignment, supplier management, component timing management, change control, relevant build support activities, function, component and vehicle validation testing including production validation & technical approval on HV-Battery level;
  • Responsible for interface towards external partners (VW Group brands' development, production, quality departments, etc., Joint Ventures, Suppliers);
  • Responsible for clarification and support of Electric/Electronic parts into project and vehicle in co-work with vehicle engineering partners;
  • Responsible for Electric/Electronics parts release under requested milestone and timing;
  • Responsible to ensure development's execution of Golden Rules requirements;
  • Responsible for problem investigation, reporting & resolution under requested milestone and program timing.

 

Our Requirements:

  • MS degree in Electric/Electronic Engineering in automotive or any respective fields;
  • Professional experience in Electric/Electronics or software development;
  • Skilled in electronics parts approval processes in automotive industry;
  • Knowledge in Matlab Simulink, CAN/Flexray, bus systems;
  • Aware of IS026262 and functional safety requirements;
  • Strong problem solving abilities in complex environment;
  • Able to communicate effective on department levels -from shopfloor to department management;
  • Analytical thinking;
  • Able to fast network in region China with different stakeholders/entities;
  • Already networked in Volkswagen Group helpful;
  • Engineering Univ. degree; automotive industry and powertrain knowledge required;
  • 3+ years working experience in the field of HV-Battery and Electric/Electronics;
  • Familiar with VW standard is preferred;
  • Fluent English is must, Chinese and German are preferred.
