Task

1. Electronics development of PPE, MEB and future platforms/projects • Create requirements and concepts for HW control units and/or other E/E HV components during concept, series development phase and series maintainence • Implement specification & development requirements, vehicle software and hardware interfaces definition • Support benchmarking of HW control units and/or other E/E HV components for the Chinese Market • Reporting towards TPL, SE and TL for development status or escalation

2. Release for Electronics/BMS/CMC scope of BEV & PHEV battery system • Responsible for planning, preparation and collection of release relevant input and information, also organization of activities relevant for release • Tracking of release approach and execution within HW control units and/or other E/E HV components and pro-active risk prevention • Alignment with stakeholders (e.g. VW/Audi Germany) for release• Release responsibility for HW control units and/or other E/E HV components

3. Technical Group-level and JV alignments • Interface towards different departments, JVs for HW control units and/or other E/E HV components relevant technical topics • Interface towards VW/Audi, JVs and battery partners for E/E relevant technical topics on HVB level

4.Procurement management • Responsible to align and parpare procurement documents for technical support, research and development • Support TL for cost evaluation • Support TL for supplier payment and delivery confirmation

Qualification

1. Necessary education: MS degree in Electric/Electronic Engineering in automotive or any respective fields

2. Personal skills:

► Professional experience in HW control units and/or other E/E HV components development

► Skilled in HW control units and/or other E/E HV components approval processes in automotive industry

► Extensive hardware design tool experience such as Altium Designer, OrCAD or similar tools for schematic capture, circuit simulation and layout design

► Strong familiarity with hardware communication protocols including CAN, FlexRay and other relevant bus systems commonly used in automotive electronics

► Confident handling of requirements, change and configuration management tools, preferably DOORS and Codebeamer as well as IBM Rational Change/Synergy

► Ability to develop according to ISO 26262 and functional safety requirements

► Strong problem solving abilities in complex environment

► Able to communicate effective on department levels - from shopfloor to department management

► Analytical thinking

► Able to fast network in region China with different stakeholders/entities

► Already networked in Volkswagen Group helpful

► Engineering univ. degree; automotive industry and powertrain knowledge required

► 3+ years working experience in the field of HV-Battery and HW control unit and/or other E/E HV components

► Fluent English language skills mandatory, Chinese and German language skills preferred
