Department Mission

Manage and provision IT infrastructure resources and services

Continually optimizing IT infrastructure services and managing changes

Managing the help desk and ticketing system, troubleshooting issues

Incident and security management

Your Responsibilities:

• Design and Validate technical solutions and lead the implementation to support Projects and Requests
• Benchmark and review performance of active and passive network, and improve performance
• Ensure the life cycle of network infrastructure components in time to prevent outages due to old components
• Plan and coordinate network changes as well as overseeing them
• Review and analyze network change request and coordinate changes with engineering and quality assurance to ensure compliance with customer requirements and technical compliance
• Assure transition from project to operation is fulfilling all operational needs and  ensure operations teams is able to operate
• Ensure that the Monitoring systems and documentations are updated in time (L3/L4)
• Continuous improvement of network operations and processes by review of operational task
• Ensure the defined Service Level is monitored, measured and fulfilled
• Drive request for information (RFI) and request for proposal (RFP) process and evaluate the technical proposals
   

Required Qualification:

• Certified as CCIE RS or CCIE SP or comparable Certification from another Network OEM, experienced in Design
• Bachelor in computer science or equivalent is beneficial / Good English, spoken and written

Personal skills:

• Very good skills of: network planning, building up networks, operation, structured troubleshooting
• Experience on Party A side
• Good knowledge and understanding of:
• - classic and current Network Technologies and design and VW standards
• Knowledge on
• - Network Monitoring solutions
• - Server and clients
• - Windows and Unix Operating system

Working experience (in years):

• 5 years working as Network Engineer or a in a similar position in recent time and 3 years’ experience in network design and planning and project management
