Department Mission

Business partner and Demand Mgmt., focus on Company dedicate IT solution management, such as ERP or Data Lake;

In charge of the Company IT solution implementation and operation, steer and support all involved IT partners and Business Units;  and keep strategic and cooperative alignment with Group IT and BU.

Your Responsibilities (within 5 lines):

• Regular interact with local stakeholders/business and be responsible for the IT/system related project/program management;
• Determine requirements by analysing needs of users/departments; prioritizing modifications to related systems; developing and implementing documentation requirements related to the project area;
• Drive request for proposal (RFP) process and manage partners/vendors to deliver the requested projects, solutions or services;
• Manage projects/programs for both IT and business aspects and ensure the alignment of local and central teams; Provide monthly Project status reports to the leader;
• Present updates regarding the project portfolio including roadmaps and project challenges;
• Achieve project objectives by professional project management; contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; resolving problems, determining system improvements;
• Prepare and drive decision proposals for IT & Process optimization;
• Manage applications life cycle and deployment of new releases in coordination with the project teams;
• Coordinate, validate and implement change requests and release updates in cooperation with the project teams and the suppliers;
• Conduct risk assessment and develop mitigation plans;
• Manage, update and release documentation related to Enterprise IT projects
• Identify and create potential synergy with VWAG IT project teams in Enterprise IT topics;

Required Qualification:

Expert knowledge in IT Process & Project Management Standards (PMI or equivalent) and deep experience in project/program management according to VW Group Standards. Ability to identify the business requirements, analyse group and state-of-the-art solutions and define concepts to set up and maintain sustainable IT projects/programs.

• Understanding of key performance indicators, critical success factors and vital business functions;
• Minimum of 8 years working with related business area and 10 years IT related project management experience; Familiar and qualified with related IT Management Methodology, eg. ITIL, CoBIT, etc.
• Understanding of needs of business users including achieving user satisfaction by serving process consultancy and project delivery with high quality;
• Understanding of optimization of IT Project related planning and operative processes and tasks;
• Understanding of monitoring and reporting tools to ensure project delivery in time, budget and quality;
• General understanding in purchasing, controlling and finance processes;
• Familiar with the usage of standard project management tools (MS Project, MS Visio, Ticketing Systems, knowledge management, reporting and monitoring tools)
• General understanding of the IT Security concepts and methodologies
• General understanding of infrastructure architectures and basic concepts (e.g. Network Technologies, Storage, Backup Technologies, Redundancy concepts, Monitoring Technologies, Ticketing System, Knowledge Database)
• General understanding of IT Service Management (ITIL)

Working experience (in years):

• At least 5 years’ experience in software development in the automotive and/or production industry;
• At least 8 years knowledge in IT project management (PMP or equivalent);
• Minimum of 1 year with international projects
• Familiar with IT Security Concepts;
• Familiar with IT Architecture Management concepts
• Experience driving request for information (RFI) and request for proposal (RFP) processes and evaluate the technical proposals
• Experience in IT Project Planning, Delivery and Optimization (incl. Budgeting)
• Experience in managing partners/vendors to deliver the requested projects, solutions and services
• Experience in Documentation and Reporting
