Brief description of the position: 

The job holder is responsible to ensure the delivery of on-site operational, organizational and technical aspects of fire protection security management. Ensuring compliance with fire protection standards and regulation. The role has responsibility for the supervision of the fire brigade and security services, with the overall aim of loss prevention, protection and risk mitigation.

Key Tasks: 

1. Lead the onsite management of the fire brigade and fire maintenance services.
2. Ensure the functionality and integrity of firefighting facilities. Cooperation and communication with the Firefighting maintenance supplier, ensuring timely and effective handling of rectifications.
3. Manage emergency response for fire incidents, conduct fire accident reporting and investigation.
4. Organize the fire protection inspection; monitor the implementation of the preventative, detected, and corrective actions resulting from fire risks.
5. Act as the local interface to internal & external stakeholders in the field of fire protection.
6. Support the review of fire protection system design, the acceptance of fire protection system facility for new construction, reconstruction and expansion of projects.
7. Manage the site security & fire protection equipment, ensuring compliance, serviceability and training.
8. Organize and coordinate regular fire training, including fire evacuation drills
9. On-site supervision of the security service provider
10. Manage emergency response for security incidents, conduct security incident & violation report and, when required, investigation

Qualification and skills required for the position: 

Education: Bachelor degree or above, preferably in fire, safety , or technical construction related fields 

Working experience: Previous experience in fire, safety or infrastructure related fields, preferably in manufacturing or research & development sectors. 

Knowledge, skills and others:

• Familiar with national fire protection laws, regulation, standards, such as China Fire Law, Code for fire protection design of building etc.
• Familiar with the principle of fire protection system and operation knowledge of fire facility.
• English: Conversational English, oral and written. German is advantageous
• Proficient with office software such as EXCEL/WORD/PPT
• Certified Fire Engineer is preferred.
• Knowledge of corporate security and security operations is preferred
• Basic proficiency in CAD software preferred.
