Brief description of the position:
Plan/Do/Check/Act software quality evaluations (potential analysis, technical review and software assessment) for software suppliers. Apply the internal software quality assessment model and evaluation criteria for in-house development. Plan/Do/Check/Act quality assurance activities for in-house development processes / products and follow up countermeasures until closure.
Key Tasks:
- Work with business and development teams to clarify quality requirements and align on product goals.
- Participate in software work product reviews (e.g., requirements, test cases, test reports) to identify risks and drive improvements.
- Join quality review meetings with R&D to ensure deliverables meet standards (e.g., Q-Gate, SW release approval).
- Conduct audits of software development work products and processes, identifying non-conformances and tracking resolutions.
- Perform software assessments (e.g., based on Automotive SPICE or VW Group standards) to ensure supplier compliance.
- Monitor problem analysis and risk mitigation for assigned areas.
- Participate in specialized quality improvement initiatives, using data analysis to support goal achievement.
- Track updates in quality standards (e.g., ISO, ASPICE) and support continuous optimization of the company’s quality system.
- Assist in reviewing project management tools/systems to ensure compliance with company processes.
- Conduct trainings/Q&A sessions to ensure stakeholders adhere to processes, specifications, and tools.
Qualification and skills required for the position:
Education:
Master / Bachelor, field of automotive engineering (Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Software Engineering)
Working experience:
3+ years of experience in software quality management or related roles (e.g., development, testing).
Knowledge, skills and others:
- Chinese and English in writing and conversation mandatory, German is preferable.
- Familiarity with Automotive SPICE, ISO 21434, and Basic understanding of quality management.
