VTO-Body In White

VTO - BIW is responsible for constructing BIW structure of virtual prototype and responsible for BIW parts visualization, virtual assembly. In PEP milestone "Virtual Product Development", is responsible for HDBT data checking and report the data quality problems in the HDBT meeting, and check the digital feasibility of production.

•    Construct all the BIW parts for virtual prototype, and check the assemble and welding feasibility of BIW parts.
•    Position and check binding elements of BIW for the virtual prototype.
•    Ambiguities about parts, studs and sealant are pointed out and escalated.
•    Detect the product maturity before the start of BIW production and support the process control colleagues through visualization of individual parts in the overall car context.
•    Obtain, clarify and document necessary information of safety-relevant elements, and delivery the results to the BIW producing and quality department for the construction of the test car. 
•    Supporting prototype production through digital assembly descriptions and reducing the use of paper in the workshops.
•    Check BIW parts data status in "Virtual Product Development" process, and fill the checking result into the BKL list.
•    Check BIW parts production feasibility and feedback the results to the parts responsible person to solve design problems.

Qualifications
•    Bachelor or master degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, computer science or equivalent qualifications.
•    Minimum 3 years working experience in automotive industry for experience candidate
•    Knowledge of vehicle construction is desirable, familiar with 3D software such as CATIA, CREO, UG is desirable 
•    CONNECT/TEAMCENTER experience is highly needed 
•    Structured working methods, ability to work in a team, high dedication, high degree of initiative, above-average communication skills, assertiveness, innovative approach, willing to travel internationally. 
•    Excellent business language skills in English (written and oral) mandatory, fluently in German is a plus
•    IT skills: MS Office, VBA and Python is appreciated
