Scope, objective and relevance of position:
This position focus on HR communication and culture/transformation related projects to ensure transparency during transformation with driving and conducting group/local corporate HR and culture Initiatives implementation within Volkswagen Group China, to accelerate culture transformation which support our Group’s overall business strategy in China.
Range of responsibility:
Lead Corporate Culture Strategy & Group Alignment
- Drive the design and implementation of corporate culture initiatives, ensuring strong alignment between Group Essentials and regional execution across Volkswagen Group China.
- Serve as the central regional interface for Group culture initiatives
- Ensure effective localization, cross-entity collaboration, and best-practice alignment
- Bundle other culture initiatives like Role Model Programme etc. group initiatives implementation within Volkswagen Group China
Drive Culture Engagement & Communication Excellence
- Develop and implement culture-related engagement formats and communication platforms to strengthen employee connection and support transformation.
- Build internal and external exchange platforms to enhance learning and inspiration
- Orchestrate omni-channel communication to broaden participation and engagemen
- Capture employee insights to support continuous improvement
Contribute to Leadership & Transformation Projects
- Provide input on project scope, planning, and implementation considerations
- Support cross-functional coordination and communication
- Contribute insights based on cultural and organizational context
- Ensure alignment with broader culture and engagement initiatives
Regional steer, coordinate, and communicate the GEMS process
- Central contact & interface to GEMS Group team, feedback to Group team regarding regional specialties to contribute for process/system optimization
- Consulting for managers regarding qualifications and motivation of employees to participate
- Identification and contacting of OUs for consulting and support in the follow-up process
- Consulting for results & methods for result discussions, steering skill BPs in the GEMS follow up process
Lead and organize Company Level Events & projects
- Oversee end-to-end event planning and execution across major corporate platforms
- Coordinate stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and external partners to ensure timely and high-quality delivery
- Manage event governance including budgeting, contracting, and documentation control
- Ensure effective use of digital solutions to enhance participation and operational efficiency
Derive HR communication content, select and define communication channel, manage content editing and overall release design
- Develop strategic planning of HR communication concepts in terms of management & employee communication
- Develop and edit HR communication materials aligned with defined themes and initiatives
- Manage and maintain HR communication channels to ensure timely and effective content release
- Provide communication drafting support for management-related topics when required
Qualification and skills:
- At least Bachelor degree in Business Administration, with practical experiences on culture development
- 5 to 10 years in organizational culture development or corporate culture area
- Demonstrated abilities in developing concept and driving impact
- Proven project management capabilities
- Comfortable working under demanding deadlines and producing key deliverables
