Brief description of the position:
Ensuring the transformation from business strategy into organization, this function contributes in regional/cross-entity organization development projects, and provides professional OD consultancy to derive of efficiency measures based on KPI-driven analyses of the organization and workforce structure, thereby optimizing overall organizational performance.
Key Tasks:
- Based on the overall strategy and specific characteristics of the respective entities in scope, plan and execute regional organizational development projects to ensure adherence to the company's strategy and business case
- Initiate and formulate organizational proposals with the objective of improving operational efficiency, effectiveness and profitability
- Formulate and implement (cross-entity) OD projects, derived from corporate strategy, business development, efficiency considerations and external organizational research (e.g. in the form of industry benchmark data)
- Identify and evaluate efficiency potentials derived from cross-entity function and organizational analysis, translation into actionable decision proposals for top management, documentation and follow-up with implementation
- Increase organizational effectiveness by identifying organizational and process shortcomings via organization diagnosis & function analysis, define actionable measures to mitigate the identified deficiencies
- Track and follow-up with strategic, regional efficiency projects, collaborate with organization business partners for data verification and analysis. Present and defend results in front of senior management
- Support the planning, organizing and implementation of projects related to management function grading, non-management function grading and function grading review for regional controlled entities
- Establish solid organization development processes, drive the continuous review and optimization of cross department processes
- Support the regional Org. BP team to establish and retain the required core competences, provide guidance and mentoring of individual employees to facilitate daily business operations
Qualification and skills required:
- Master degree in engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Human Resources, Management or similar field of study
- Overall working experience 7+ years, preferably in HR consulting, COE role in Auto MNE with traceable hands-on experience in driving organizational design, diagnosis & transformation
- Understanding of MNC and JV steering model and corporate processes Expertise in organization design, diagnostics and function analysis Proficiency in process optimization, organizational optimization & transformation Ability to synthesize quantitative/qualitative data to develop data-driven solutions Advanced in project management, facilitation Sufficient English language skill both in oral and written, German as a plus Good/excellent MS Office skills Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills
