Brief description of the position:

Responsible for supporting on the governance model implementation as well as collaboration model for Electric modules within VCIC with VCTC, CARIAD, JVs, HQ and extern cooperation partners. Implementation of profit and market oriented module & technology strategy with corresponding comprehensive Fachteam structure.

Key Tasks: 

1. Support Fachteam operations and optimize corresponding workflows from an overarching perspective on Electric modules
2. Synchronize Electric low cost modules with second supplier requirement from different stakeholders with consideration on module variant management 
3. Align and define China modules roll-out plan with Joint Ventures with focus on Electric modules
4. Conduct Electric modules business case evaluation, based on different scenarios to derive an optimal solution for China Modules from economic and technical perspectives
5. Tracking, reporting & escalation for all costs, MEKs, deadlines, variants and quality targets
6. Align with other Product Management OUs within VGC, the Region and the Group and other relevant stakeholders and develop suitable compromises in the Groups
7. Develop and implement processes to accelerate decision taking on relevant scope of work
8. Special tasks and projects as assigned by supervisor and head of productsSpecial tasks and projects as assigned by supervisor and head of products

Qualification and skills required for the position: 

Education: Higher education in Engineering or Business Related Field 

Working experience: 6+ years of automotive, technical development, product management or other relevant work experience 

Knowledge, skills and others: 

Proven track record in module management and development, involvement in cross - organizational technical development initiatives Capability to strategically pursue business and process objectives within defined modules In - depth understanding of product requirement, technical capability of module management High knowledge of vehicel-related module technologies, ideally Electric modules Exceptional intercultural management and communication skills for effective collaboration Familiarity with committees and decision making processes at VGC
