Brief description of the position:
The Integrity & Compliance Consultant for Policies, Programs & Compliance BP serves as the functional lead and center of competence for compliance policies and programs within Region China. It provides steering and support to controlled entities and other brands to implement compliance frameworks. The position is also responsible for compliance topics and CMS governance in responsible BU/entity.
Key Tasks:
- Serves as Region China's functional lead and excellence center for compliance policies& programs, providing strategic guidance and support to controlled entities and stakeholders for execution
- Localizes Global and Regional compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines, along with applicable industry regulations. Leads local compliance projects and initiatives to mitigate identified risks.
- Creates and executes comprehensive compliance programs, proposing corresponding remediation measures. Formalizes compliance principles into standardized operating procedures.
- Develops measures to mitigate the company’s compliance risk by adapting group requirements to the China-specific context and innovative market activities.
- Continuously steers and improves the company's compliance program based on monitoring results, audit findings, and industry best practices.
- Backs the next-level compliance officer in the ongoing deployment of the Compliance Management System to avert and handle compliance risks.
- Architecturally develops and deploys the responsible BU's compliance management system to secure the smooth execution of all compliance activities.
- Carries out compliance risk evaluations and puts forward countermeasures aligned with the BU-specific business model, reporting to the next-level compliance officer and BoM/MD.
- Delivers compliance consultation to the designated organization, putting forward professional countermeasures to support business decision-making and operations.
- Performing individual task-related duties in accordance with the knowledge and experience of the position holder.
- Advising other people holding positions at VCIC, its subsidiaries/associate companies, or cooperating organizations upon request and in consultation with the appropriate people responsible.
Qualification and skills:
- Degree in economics (Master’s degree,e.g. MBA) and/or Law
Working experience:
- Min. 7 years in auditing/Law enforcement/ compliance management or similar environment
