Brief description of the position:

Licensing & Pricing professionals play a pivotal role in managing intellectual property and setting strategies to maximize revenue.

Key Tasks:

• Oversee and manage the process of obtaining and renewing licenses.
• Negotiate and manage licensing contracts.
• Ensure compliance with all license agreements.
• Maintain current knowledge of licensing laws and regulations.
• Assess business and market opportunities related to licensing.
• Work closely with different departments to coordinate licensing needs.
• Create and maintain records of all licenses.
• Performing individual task-related duties in accordance with the knowledge and experience of the position holder.
• Advising other people holding positions at VCIC, its subsidiaries/associate companies, or cooperating organizations upon request and in consultation with the appropriate people responsible.

Qualification and skills required for the position:

Education:

Degree in management information systems, finance, econometrics, statistics, or similar.

Working experience:

• Proven experience creating data-driven knowledge that promotes profitability.
• Proven experience in financial report and plan.
• Proven experience in Licensing and Pricing.

Knowledge, skills and others:

• Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills.
•  Knowledge of contract law and intellectual property rights.
• Experience negotiating and managing contracts.
•  Strong ability to communicate with business users and management of all levels for the development and delivery of reporting requirements. Advanced Microsoft Excel and Access skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail.
• Ability to take initiative, guide and influence others toward overall company Planning and Reporting goal accomplishment.
