Brief description of the position:
The risk officer ensures the implementation and maintenance of an appropriate Risk Management and Internal Control System (RMS/ICS) within the Company and is responsible for the implementation and execution of appropriate Risk Management processes within the Company regularly. The risk officer reports in accordance with the RQP processes regularly to company BoM and other committees in company.
Key Tasks:
- Steer Quarterly Risk Process and ensure the consistent quality and content for the Volkswagen (Anhui) Automotive Co., Ltd.
- Support business units in conception and setup of operational risk management within their area of responsibility
- Provide adequate trainings of RMS/ICS and qualify related departments/employees in Volkswagen (Anhui) Automotive Co., Ltd.
- Provide consultation to senior management and departments on key risks, status of mitigation and control activities as well as weaknesses in the internal control systems
- Adapt and timely update local risk policy /standards according to group policy/standards
- Ensure risk awareness at company level is strengthened through adequate risk campaign activities
- Lead/work in special projects related to risk management
Qualification and skills required for the position:
Education: Bahelor’s degree, preferably Master’s degree majoring in finance, economics, accounting, business management or other related fields from a renowned institution
Knowledge, skills and others: Practical knowledge of company common processes and knowledge of risk management (preferred in automotive sales companies) Proficiency in English/Chinese in reading and writing, communication and coordination skills towards various target groups Strong sense of accountability and result oriented Holder of CPA, CIA or other recognized certificate in risk management related area preferred Proficient Microsoft office software skills Strong communication, negotiation and facilitation skills Ability to interact with different levels of management
