Brief description of the position:

• The job holder is overall responsible for the supply chain security processes, standards and regulation development and establishment; Regularly monitoring and analyzing security risks and providing corresponding guidelines. Conducting security assessment and offering corrective measures guidance. Performing security investigation in needed base thereby to mitigate security risks in region china 

Key Tasks:

• Analysis and clarify supply chain security relevant processes, standards, and regulations in region China
• Develop, establish and maintain corresponding supply chain security standard and processes
• Regularly assess the security risks in the supply chain and identify potential security vulnerabilities (e.g. cargo crime, cyber attacks, know-how leakage, etc.), and develop improvement plans.
• Establish supply chain risk warning mechanism, monitor the impact of natural disasters, political instability, terrorism, trade barriers, etc. on the supply chain, and develop emergency plans
• Conduct security assessment in regards to supply chain security and provide corrective guidance
• Monitor the overall security situation, update and report tracking overview
• Perform investigations into criminal activities linked to the supply chain of VGC and all minority and majority JVs, coordinating multi- sites in needed base
• Identify, build up and maintain connections with suppliers, group entities and relevant stakeholders in Region China; Ensure regular communication
• Interface between Group Security China & Asia Pacific Region and Group Brands for cargo crime topics
• Be in general available for all kinds of needed Security projects/ tasks in a flexible and self-responsible way 
• Performing individual task-related duties in accordance with the knowledge and experience of the position holder.
• Advising other people holding positions at VCIC, its subsidiaries/associate companies, or cooperating organizations upon request and in consultation with the appropriate people responsible.

Qualification and skills required for the position:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field
• CSCP, CPIM, CLTD certification is preferred                                 
• Languages Skills: 

Chinese and English in writing and conversation mandatory

• IT Skills: 

MS Office

Excellent communications skills
