Brief description of the position:

The position "Hybrid & ICE testing" is responsible for Hybrid-Drive from PHEV and EREV related validation including Hybrid Gearbox and internal combustion engine. The candidate shall responsible for validation related tasks including test plan, status reports, open point list, Budget planning and dispatching, issue matrix and keep improving the validation process with front loading principle.

 Key Tasks:

• He manages all internal test procedures for a project from start to finish through all development and test phases. KPI: Test plan, status reports, open point list
• The aim is to find and fix as many problems as possible as early as possible. He maintains a complete overview of all findings, the underlying problems, their solutions, and issues a final system validation release for his project on this basis. KPI: Issue-Matrix / Project
• Complete overview of all evidence found in all subjects examined in a project. He transfers errors from the late phase to the early phase in order to save money and time, thereby further developing the individual test groups. KPI: Front loading statistic
• Develop comprehensive test plans and schedules based on project requirements; allocate test cell resources and coordinate with engineering teams to ensure timely execution; gather all the resources including budget and attached part for testing
• Review and validate test data for accuracy and completeness; generate technical reports and present findings to engineering and management stakeholders
• Identify opportunities to optimize test workflows, reduce cycle times, and improve overall test efficiency; implement best practices and standard operating procedures.
• Liaise with design engineers, calibration teams, quality assurance, and suppliers to align test objectives and resolve technical discrepancies.
• Ensure the professional operation of their testing devices and systems, evaluating their results and compare them permanently with the other results of his test equipment. KPI: Run time statistic, planning status
• Drive/operate the test vehicle/benches according to the approved test procedure, execute all cases; record raw data (signal waveform, CAN message, fault code) Comparison of expected results, Pass/Fail determination; Preliminary root cause analysis of Fail items. KPI: Test Execution Report (.csv/.blf), Bug List, Final Test Summary Report
