Brief description of the position:

1. Ensuring OTA test readiness & test execution on the test vehicles & test benches; 2. Responsible for failure pre-analysis and reporting, creating & tracking Jira tickets in time; 3. Develop and maintain test automation test cases/software/scripts to ensure continuous and correct test coverage. 4. Knowledge of vehicle E&E architecture, UDS diagnostic and flashing.

Key Tasks:

Initial Buildup of the test vehicles & benches, configure, update and maintain the required test environment and test objects according to the test plan in close cooperation with release managers

Coordinate the test preparation and test execution on the test vehicles and benches under reconsideration of available resources & test tasks

Align detailed planning & results of the tests with release manager, test case designer, error management etc.

Update the test environment according to the specification of the test team (e.g. wire harness, VBM-list )

Actively communicate with the team to complete the test preparation, test content and test execution according to the available test objects and environment.

Responsible for manual or automated OTA test start and execution.

Ensure correct test result analysis and report for a given test mission

Collaborate closely with development teams to reproduce defects and verify bug fixes in new software versions.

Automation of test cases according to test concept & maintenance of test automation software to ensure correct automation

Programming test automation libraries with languages (eg. Phython, C++ ...) to improve work efficiency continusly

Analyze functional requirements and specifications to optimize comprehensive test cases, covering functional, performance, and robustness scenarios for OTA updates.

Qualification and skills required for the position:

Education: Engineering Bachelor/Master degree in vehicle engineering, computer engineering, information technology, electronic engineering or similar 

Working Exp: ISTQB certified tester or 3+ years of OTA testing experience; Rich experience in vehicle commissioning, debugging & testing; 

Others: 1.OTA test experience and Project Management Experience 2.Deep knowledge of test processes and networked vehicle functions; 3.Deep knowledge of vehicle bus systems (LIN, CAN, Ethernet) and bus tracing tools; 4.Good at communication and coordination, strong teamwork skills. 5.Good driving skill, prototype driving license is a plus 6.Flexibly work overtime according to project milestones 7.Programing skills for test automation, such as Phython, CAPL
