Brief introduction of this position:
This Position holds the responsibility for all development activities related to interior trim testing. This includes the elaboration of engineering solution as well as the communication & exchange with respective stakeholder within the global & multi entity network as well as VCTC internal.

Key tasks:
    1. Development projects in the field of interior
    2. Assure the  for K- and BMG release of the related parts
    3. Specification of the required testing sequence, preparation of specifications in compliance with the development test catalogues and the project schedule 
    4. Definition of new and china specific requirements and Test standards for interior trim parts for the releases in the region China
    5. The testing in the vehicle as well as in the individual part test bench under all possible situations from extremely hot to extremely cold
    6. Components/system evaluation with regard to cost reduction potentials. Consideration of competitors
    7. Compliance with the laws and regulations of the target markets
    8. Alignment of results with suppliers and external/ internal partners
    9. Management of external service providers
    10. Documentation and presentation of test results as well as creation of management-oriented presentations

Qualification and skills:
    • Bachelor or Master in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering or similar. Broad knowledge and well-founded technical understanding in all relevant interior or exterior parts/ systems.
    • Minimum 3 years of working experience in automotive industry.
    • Deep understanding of automotive processes and procedures, familiar with Volkswagen Group organization, systems and processes.
    • Fluent in spoken and written Chinese and English. German knowledge is appreciated.
