Brief description of the position:

 
To conduct the robust maintenance management of the test equipment and test benches in R&D workshops and ensure a stable running of test and prototype production.
 
 

Key Tasks:

 
  • Responsible for equipment maintenance activities of Cooling system / Heat system / Air handling System/ Humidifying/ Fresh air unit/ Control/Media supply. Ensure all safety standards are met during maintenance activities.
  • Developing preventative / predictive maintenance practices to ensure 100% equipment uptime.
  • Leading and plan maintenance actions. Preventive, Planned and Crisis Maintenance.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot AC related equipment malfunctions and take appropriate measures for repairs.
  • Optimization of current maintenance processes. Coaching in continuous improvement, standardization, and lean concepts.
  • Coach problem solving activities ,mainly focused on Reliability and Maintainability.
  • Coordinate skilled personnel during breakdowns to fix the issue with the minimal disturbance. Ensure resources are planned during the breaks.
  • Be point of contact to local vendors and commodity suppliers regarding equipment issues.
  • Providing input on new equipment design and purchase. Supporting new equipment planning as required. as well as the existing equipment modification program review, pre-acceptance and final acceptance, and to ensure the reliability of air condition equipment.
 
 

Qualification and skills required for the position:

 
  • Education:
     
    Bachelor Degree or higher education in HVAC, Hydraulic / Mechanical/ Drainage/ Environmental engineering preferred. Equivalent experience accepted.
  • Working experience:
     
    At least 5 years working experience for equipment related work in Automotive industrial field.
  • Knowledge, skills and others:
    • Ability to optimize equipment programs and trouble shoot issues to identify root cause
    • Excellent communicator who can train team members
    • Must be self-starter who will take ownership of projects and see them through to completion with limited supervision
    • Successful candidate must be able to demonstrate leadership behaviors combined with outstanding interpersonal, and communication skills
    • Vision experience strongly preferred
