Key Tasks:

• Responsible for the design, development, production introduction, and technical support of new material independently or collaborating with suppliers/universities.
• Continuous optimize and improve the performance of  material to fulfill project targets
• Responsible for the establishment of technical agreements, material specifications and clear definition of technical parameters at the material level
• Conduct failure mechanism analysis of materials and lead the resolution of technical issues during material development
• Prepare related technical documents throughout the product development process
• Investigate the relationship between physical properties of materials and full-cell performance, as well as influencing factors
• Responsible for market analysis reports and products roadmap
• Responsible for development process standardization and patent applications
• Serve as interface between PowerCo and vendors to ensure smooth project progress

Qualification and skills required for the position:

• Bachelor degree in Electrochemistry ,Material/Chemical Engineering. Master or Ph.D is a plus.
• 3 years+ development experience for battery cell application
• Strong background on material design/screening/application
• Strong knowledge on battery including components and working mechanism
• Strong background on material design, optimization and evaluation
• Knowledge of electrochemical analysis methodology and critical cell manufacturing process 
• Language:  Fluent in English and Chinese, German is a plus
