Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Define vehicle power distribution network structure strategy and principle
- Construct system design of vehicle LV power distribution system from 12V batt. to end consumers, and develop overall vehicle power topology
- Concept design of ADAS L3/L4 safety power distribution framework and structure
- Design safety power distribution component, e.g. PDC, eFuse Box or integrated ZCU
- Design vehicle Power Mode/Usage Mode concept for ICE/PHEV/EREV/BEV platforms, Power Mode/Usage Mode control system requirements development from function breaks down to HW/SW requirements/specifications
- Power Supply control concept design for ICE/PHEV/EREV/BEV platforms, Power Mode control system requirements development, e.g. plant/transportation/exhibition/maintenance modes…
- Vehicle Life Cycle Mode concept design for ICE/PHEV/EREV/BEV platforms, Vehicle Life Cycle Mode control system requirements development
- Design power efficiency solutions for power distribution and power supply control, support LV energy management control system development
- Develop vehicle power supply network management control system from function requirement level to SW requirement level.
- Good chip knowhow of Power, MCU, SoC HW architecture, e.g. eFuse, MOSFET, PMIC, DCDC, LDO TC4x, RH850, MTK8676, Horizon J6, SA8295/8155…
- Problem solving for power network issues in testing, plant and field
Qualification and skills:
- Major in Electrical/Electronics/Automation/Automotive engineering with bachelor degree or above
- 3+ year working experience in automotive power network development in terms of power distribution, power mode and power supply control
- Demonstrated experience in automotive power network knowhow and experience
- Basic knowledge on communication, power and controller chip, e.g. CAN transceiver, eFuse, PMIC, MCU, SoC
- Skilled in network analysis tools, e.g. VN56xx, CANoe, CANape, INCA, Oscilloscope…
- Basic knowledge of MBSE - Model Based System Engineering
- English is a must, German is a plus
