Position Name: OBC Calibration

Your Responsibilities:

• Calibration scope & criterion definition based on technical requirement analysis 
• Calibration methodology & toolbox development and calibration spec definition 
• Calibration implementation in 1 or more packages as below:
      - Sensor & actuator (AC current sensor, DC voltage sensor, low voltage sensor, temperature sensor, relay control, IGBT/Mosfet configuration etc.)
      - OBC control ( charging/discharging control 1 phase + 3 phase, power loop calibration (PFC, DCDC) etc.)
•     - Function safety & high voltage safety (AC current monitoring, DC voltage monitoring, active/passive discharging at different conditions etc.)
      -Thermal ( thermal model paramerization (IGBT/Mosfet, DC capacitor, EMC filter etc.), power loss calibration, cooling flow calibration etc.)
      - Diagnostic
•     - Derating/protection (over current, over temperature, over voltage etc.)
      - ECU configuration/CAN signal mapping etc.
      - etc.
• ECU commissioning together with testing engineer 
• Calibration data review & scoring & release 
• Support production engineer for the sample production incl. thermal sensor type choosing, thermal sensor layout position definition, EOL setup support & technical trouble shooting etc.
• Collaborate with simulation, design, testing and quality teams to investigate root causes of test failures, propose technical optimization solutions
• Test rig setup & commission (Test rig scouting/evaluation/correlation, accessory/fixture/adapter preparation etc,) 
• Performing individual task-related duties in accordance with the knowledge and experience of the position holder.n
• Advising other people holding positions at VCIC, its subsidiaries/associate companies, or cooperating organizations upon request and in consultation with the appropriate people responsible.

Our Requirements:

• Bachelor or above in  electricity engineering, thermal engineering, automation, motor control, automotive electronics, power electronics. signal processing, or comparable majors
• Calibration experience in PMSM/inverter/OBC/DCDC (highly preferred)
• Thermal related calibration or simulation experience (highly preferred)
• Software development experience in PMSM/OBC/DCDC(preferred)
• Good English, German (plus)
• Basic knowledge of PMSM/ASM/inverter/OBC/DCDC hardware (preferred) 
• Good knowledge of PMSM/ASM/inverter/OBC/DCDC software(preferred) 
• Knowledge of CAN, CAN FD, UDS, XCP protocol (preferred)
• Experience of INCA, Matlab (highly preferred)
• Experience of Canoe, Canape Goepel box, Diag RA, ODIS, INCA flow (prefered)
• Knowledge of Foster/Knoten model tuning (highly preferred)
• High motivation and acting proactively
• Quick learning competence
