key task:

1. Understand optical standard and requirements (LAH) of HUD
2. Plan, steer and execute HUD development in optical according to vehicle project milestones
3. Conduct part release recommendation and make sure the part release get approval on time
4. Create change requests for optical changes, create meaningful documents, request appropriate change requests and lead requests to implementation
5. Evaluate the potential supplier technical concept (optical), analyze feasibility and provide reasonable rating
6. Manage suppliers and tracking component development and test status, ensure their delivery and result fulfill technical requirements and timeline
7. Establish and coordination test and validation plan in vehicle level, tracking the test status and analyzing/solving the problem during the test
8. Establish HUD test environment and be able to do related optical test with windshield, steering master according to test cases
9. Establish and maintains different stakeholder network of VGC, VWAG, JVs, supplier and VCTC internal to improve cooperation
10. Understand, evaluate and implement specific CHN optical requirements and technical concept to fulfill the local homologation requirements
11. Review and check optic/data/drawing/reports
12. Responsible for the formulation and review of the requirement, performance requirement,  specification and design schemes of HUD 
13. Assure the quality of component, deployment, integration and testing 
14. Real vehicle or factory and other support

Qualification:

1. Education:

   • Bachelor degree or above in Optical engineering, Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar

   Skills:

   • Knowledge of optics, familiar with HUD industry would be appreciated
   • Knowledge of optical requirements, test conditions, tests for electrical, electronic and mechatronic components.
   • Familiar with Catia GRC tool, Zemax experience would be appreciated.
   • Positive for cooperation, Strong communication skills

   Language:

   • Excellent business language skills in English (written and oral) mandatory. CET6 is required.
   • German is appreciated.
