A Detail-oriented Process Engineer position in CEA PMT Team. As a key member, the role will lead each business unit in process designing, implementing, and optimizing throughout the entire product development life-cycle. Focus will be on ensuring that processes are efficient and align with cross-functional stakeholders.
Key Tasks:
Understanding process-, method- & tool- (PMT) solutions in China collaboration projects in cooperation and with support in direction of OneTeam BUs working in this China collaboration projects.
Process Design and Implementation. Define clear roles, responsibilities, and workflows to ensure clarity and accountability across all stakeholders.
Process Management. Establish and maintain process documentation, including process standards, work instructions, and templates. Monitor and ensure adherence to established processes, identifying and addressing any deviations or bottlenecks. Ensure that all process-related activities are conducted in accordance with the company's guidelines and the V-Model of development.
Cross-Functional Coordination. Act as a key interface between various departments and teams, including Engineering, Quality, IT, etc.
Cross-Functional Coordination. Organize and facilitate process-related meetings, workshops, and training sessions to align stakeholders and promote process understanding and spreading.
Identifying and defining process optimisation potential as continuous improvement and orchestrating the conception of measures (e.g. data analysis, feedback collection, benchmarking, ...) to achieve an process, method and tool optimisation incl. cross-department alignment as well as resolving conflicting goals.
Continuous Improvement. Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process performance, reduce waste, and increase overall productivity. Track and report on key process metrics and KPIs to measure effectiveness
Strongly collaborating with position of "CEA Toolchain management" to mutually support and define a overarching and consistent PMT-landscape
Qualification and skills required for the position:
Education: Bachelor degree or above , major in Vehicle Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration.
Working experience: (1)2~3 years automotive company experience. (2)Strong capabilities and skills of planning, communication, coordination, problem solving, and documentation. (3) Project Management experience.
Knowledge, skills and others: (1) Working experience in the entity of VW group, including Audi AG, Porsche AG, Cariad China, etc. or any other OEM is preferred. (2) Familiar with vehicle product development. (3) Proficiency in using process management tools and application lifecycle management (ALM) platforms (e.g., Polarion, Jira, Confluence). (4) Proven ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and multicultural team environment . Fluent English speaking ability.
