Department Mission
• We are responsible for development and release of hybrid periphery and exhaust
systems in China
• Our goal as team is to lead and steer all stakeholders to achieve our targets in a
friendly and professional working atmosphere

Your Responsibilities:
• Steer development and release process in agreement with the Joint Ventures, VGC and
headquarter VW Group and ensure communication and reporting of these properties to
related stakeholders
• Define the testing plan, validate the testing documents and instruct JVs to work out
countermeasures to meet the project goals
• Identify capable local suppliers for responsible parts or systems according to VW group
technical requirements & specification
• Prepare the decision-making documents for the management to issue release for localized
produced modules and parts

Required Qualification:
• Education: academic degree in mechanical-, automotive-, electrical-engineering or
mechatronics
• Work Experience: min. 5-8 year experience in the fields of automotive part development,
testing or quality failure diagnosis, experience in powertrain periphery system (e.g. exhaust
system, converter or intake system) is preferred, working experience in German OEM and
study experience in Germany is a plus
• Knowledge, skills and abilities: working experience in the field of exhaust system, a good
sense in project management, highly self-motivated, proactive, responsible and reliable,
analytical thinking and self-reflection, skilled in co-operation, communication and conflict
management, intercultural competence, familiar with CATIA or other CAD tools
• Knowledge and process in VW Group systems (TI-REX, KVS, AVON, etc.) is a strong plus
• Language: fluent in English (German is a strong plus), Chinese as native language
