Brief description of the position:
The position of the Laboratory & Workshop take lead the laboratories for battery cell analysis, liquids, metal and nonmetal parts, sample preparation, microscopy and mechanical properties in accordance with the latest standards.
Key Tasks:
- Setting up laboratories for battery cell analysis, liquids, metal and nonmetal parts, sample preparation, microscopy and mechanical properties in accordance with the latest standards
- Training, instructing, supervising and managing laboratory technicians for test support, evaluation and damage analysis
- Developing early detection methods based on anomalies identified during testing
- Maintained close partnerships with other internal/external laboratories
- Knows internal costs and external prices, outsources when unavoidable
- Transfers knowledge from external to internal
- Participates in external tenders and explains why laboratory analyses cannot be carried out internally
- Responsible for internal quality assurance and the certification of external laboratory equipments to ensure maximum comparability of results
- Ensures that the highest safety standards are maintained and continuously improved within their area of responsibility
Education:
-Bachelor degree in Electro-chemistry, Chemistry, automotive, electrical, or respective field
Working experience:
-At least 5 years of working experience in automotive Laboratory
