Department Mission
  • This position belongs to the Core Smart Cockpit Product Team at CARIAD.
  • Responsible for crafting innovative interaction and intelligent experiences for the next-generation CEA platform smart cockpit, deeply integrating Large Language Models (LLMs), vision-based multimodal algorithms, and Streaming Dialogue Systems (SDS) into automotive scenarios.
  • We need a Senior Product Expert with hands-on experience in the automotive industry (OEM or Tier 1). You will continuously elevate the in-cabin intelligent user experience by defining proactive, anthropomorphic, and innovative product features (such as intelligent space, emotional companionship, and multimodal fusion perception/interaction).
 
Your Responsibilities
Technical key words: SDS, Multimodal Fusion, LLM, Agents
  • Product Definition & Planning: Define products, design scenarios, and plan roadmaps for cutting-edge features including smart cockpit LLM interaction, vision multimodality, and SDS; deliver high-quality PDD/PRD documentation.
  • Proactive Experience Design: Design proactive interaction scenarios across the entire user lifecycle (e.g., welcoming, driving, resting), driving the deep fusion of multimodal perception and execution across vision (DMS/OMS/body gestures), voice, and dynamic effects.
  • Technical Implementation & Collaboration: Partner closely with interaction, algorithm, software, Q and test teams, as well as external partners, to drive the on-vehicle deployment of end-cloud collaborative LLMs, In-Cabin Agents, and multimodal algorithms.
  • Competitive Intelligence: Continuously track global smart cockpit trends and the latest technical implementations of key competitors (e.g., leading EV startups, high-tier Tier 1s) to convert insights into differentiated product advantages.
 
Required Qualification
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or above from a full-time university; majors in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or related fields are preferred.
  • Experience: Proven product R&D experience in smart cockpits within automotive OEMs or renowned Tier 1 suppliers; must have led or played a core role in the mass production delivery of at least one vehicle model's smart cockpit features.
  • Professional Skills: Deep understanding of full-duplex voice interaction and semantic understanding, familiar with feature definitions (such as health monitoring) based on vision systems, deep research into Large Language Models (LLMs), Multimodal Large Language Models (MLLMs), and In-Cabin Agents.
  • Language Proficiency: Excellent English skills, capable of using English as a working language for daily emails and meetings.
